Age Recommendation notice:
Natasha’s prison contains mentions of Emotional Bonding, Abandonment, Clinical Depression, PTSD, Swearing, and Suicide Ideation.
I feel the need to place an age recommendation on Natasha's prison. The relationship written about in my fictional romantic suspense novella is rare but highly relatable. I want to warn parents to read the book before giving it to their children. Adolescents are usually not emotionally mature enough to understand the content thoroughly and are advised not to read the book. Adolescents may grow up believing in their version of a picture-perfect person in their lives. I do not want adolescents to consider suicide after an immature relationship.
In support of multiple blogs and a multitude of opinions available on the internet, I feel it is my responsibility as the author of the book to protect people under the age of twenty-one from content that may be more harmful on a subconscious level.
I believe we should all support authors and publishing institutions that want to be responsible and act morally by adding age recommendations to books.
